1病虫害防治：蔬菜覆盖防虫网后，可基本避免菜青虫、小菜蛾、卷心菜粘虫、斜纹夜蛾、金龟子、猿叶甲虫、蚜虫等害虫的危害。试验表明，该网对甘蓝毛虫、小菜蛾、豇豆螟、美洲斑潜蝇的防治效果为94～97%，对蚜虫的防治效果为90%。
2疾病预防：病毒病是许多蔬菜上的一种灾难性疾病，主要由昆虫，尤其是蚜虫引起
疾病的传播。由于蚊帐切断了病毒传播的主要途径，大大减少了蔬菜病毒的感染，防治效果达80%左右。
三。调节温度、土壤温湿度：结果表明，在炎热的7-8月，在25目白色防虫网中，早晚与露地温度相同，而在中午晴天，则比露地低1℃左右。早春3～4月，覆盖防虫网的棚内气温比露地高1～2℃，5cm地温比露地高0.5～1℃，能有效地防止霜冻。结果表明，雨天可减少网室降水量，晴天可减少网室蒸发量。

4.Strong light:in summer,the light intensity is high,and the strong light will inhibit the vegetative growth of vegetable crops,especially leafy vegetables.The insect proof net can play a certain role in shading and preventing direct sunlight.The shading rate of 20-22 mesh silver gray insect proof net is 20-25%.
